Now that the summer madness is over tott Devon is back in full swing.
This time we are heading to the Uppottery airfield Nissen Hut museum.
This WW2 Nissen Hut is now home to a fantastic museum that tells the story of the US army air forces and the RAF who used the many airfields in the area during the war. It was also famously the departure point for the Band Of Brothers.
The museum has toilets but no facilities to purchase food so please bring your own picnic.
The event as always is free to attend with no booking required but I would actively encourage donations to the museum as it is all run by volunteers and tells the fascinating history of the local area.
All land rovers are welcome and also if you have an interesting military vehicle then please do bring that along as well.
